About Rue

Named after my childhood chocolate lab, Rupert, Rue is an ode to where it all began, a lifelong love of fashion, of blazers, and of vintage pieces with a story to tell.

“Rue,” meaning street in French, is rooted in personal meaning and the core of why this brand came to life. Each piece is named after a street that holds significance to me, a reflection of my 23 years, the people and places I love, and the moments that have shaped me into the woman I have become. Each garment is intentionally reworked by three generations, the eldest being my best friend and guardian angel, my 98 year old Gaga.

Growing up, I was always drawn to a more tailored, timeless way of dressing. Inspired by my dad’s wardrobe of beautifully made bespoke suits, I developed an early appreciation for menswear, the structure, the ease, the quiet confidence it carried. That influence naturally found its way into my own sense of style, and over time, into Rue.

Rue is for those drawn to tailoring that feels both classic and considered, vintage pieces reimagined with intention. Designed to instill confidence, invite individuality, and encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, while always feeling like yourself.
